Exploring Agon

Hello, and good day everyone! Today's blog is just going to be some screens of my explorations around Agon. Agon is a huge world and there is plenty to see and explore! Exploration is all the more exciting in Darkfall because you never know who might try to kill you!

This first image is a simple one. Just training my magic skills on some skeletons in the Alfar lands.

After skeleton hunting, I go and relax under a giant mushroom.

Next, now this is much further away, I make it east to Hammerdale. Hammerdale is controlled by NEW and is a neutral city, a decent place to re-gear and stock up if you are in the area. NEW is a Darkfall clan that welcomes all new members so that they can be taught the inner-workings of DF and PvP.

I ran into this wolf guy while in Hammerdale, scary!

And finally, I wanted to share this picture of a lighthouse.

A Forest Adventure in Grimmwold

It started with a walk in the forest. That was my first mistake.

Especially since the forest is so dark thick! What was I thinking?

OK, but it does thin out in some parts. Hmm.. I am hungry, I wonder if there are any tasty squirrels around?

Maybe there are some squirrels this way.

Nope! Definitely not squirrels! Run away, run away!

Just... not in this direction.
"The sorrow of the Hills that cry the name of Dana rocks you to your knees"

So, forget this, I'm heading back home where its nice and warm and safe.

Almost there...

Ahh, and I am home! All the milk you could drink, all the meat you could eat, this place is paradise.

Of course, after laying around eating for a few hours I feel the urge to hunt and kill. But if I'm gunna go into that forest again, then I'll need to practice my skills. Have at thee training dummy!

Switching to Vanguard

It's so sad when you have to leave an MMO and leave your friends behind. It's something we have all have to do and it affects us all in someway or another. I wish I could just keep the same group of people to play MMOs with but there is always going to be one thing or another that makes me go out and seek new lands and new adventures.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm saying goodbye to Lineage 2. I know... how sad! It just kind of dawned on me while I was hunting in the beast farm and thinking about Lineage 2 and Vanguard. While I play Lineage 2 I feel like I'm playing in a box... and that box isn't a bad one. I meen, it's fun. I have had plenty of fun playing Lineage 2. But where was it going? I really had no goal in Lineage 2 and I realised that I didn't even like PvP all that much. And PvP is the main focus of the game!

Vanguard. It's such a hard game to describe. For now I'm still going to withhold judgment.

The trees are really cool in vanguard. They feel like real trees. A strange thing to say, but they just feel more "real".

At the top of my native town of Halgarad there is a altar.
These spiders are pretty scary. O.o
