Gnome Powah!

I just had to. They are so cute, and their dances are so cool. And you know me, I love making new characters and exploring new places from a newbies point of view. It's just what I do! I made my gnome a warlock, because there is some high level warlock armor that I think would look really good on my gnome dude.

Yup, that's a gnome with a plan! Notice I didn't make a girl gnome... god they are ugly.

OK, this isn't a picture of my gnome, actually it is a shot of Rulero my bank alt. I just found this team of bots sitting outside the bank somewhat interesting.

Ahhh, and the best thing Gnome's have going for them is their racial mount! How cool is riding on a mech??

The advanced models look great.

Inside a gnome house.

Is it just me or does it look like this house could get up and start walking around?

This poor gnome is really gunna get a shock... notice the big machine with a lightning bolt on it.

WoW continues (back from vacation!)

Well, I'm not really back from vacation. I am now here in Alabama visiting with my grandparents, and I'm stealing internet from one of their neighbors. (Hey back at home I keep my own internet unencrypted so others can do the same, it's no big deal). I must admit, I have gotten pretty behind on the blog. I have sooo many pictures piled up to show you (and they are good ones, otherwise I would have deleted them by now.)

I really thought I was going to have to fight this guy, but nope, he was really rather friendly and just cared for this swamp. I was more than happy to help him out.

What you see behind me, is actually tunnels through the mountain that lead from the dwarf lands to the swamp. (I think) Cool tree!
The dwarfs have shifted from manufacturing, to archeology! Cool lore!
When you die in the World of Warcraft you end up here, in the spirit world.

OK that is some gross armor.
Hehe, I haven't posted one of these in awhile. This is a good one!

A sunset, boobies (cough I mean a nice outfit), and more dwarf city!

Well, this is one of those blogs that doesn't really tell a story or even go to a specific location. It's really just all over the place, so lets just get into it caus I got some great screens!

The tram to the dwarf city. It was hard to get a good shot of it, but this one is adequate.

Looking back on it, that mask makes me look really stupid. But this is a good shot of that dwarf guy outside the entrance to the dwarf city!

Aww, my squirrel loves me.

Damn! O.O I have nothing more to say. XD

Hmm you know, I think this is a sunrise not a sunset. It looks great.

The human city, and a sunset

In WoW I have been traveling all over the place, and having fun killing monsters and doing some instance runs. I used to be a "WoW basher" even in this blog, and I admit I never had an idea how fun the game really is! It's very good looking too, that is probably the biggest surprise. Like any game, screenshots don't really do it justice but I try my best to take good screens to show off what I like about the visuals.

Well anyways, the human city has a classic look to it. It wasn't really my cup of tea, but I didn't hate it.

As you can see, it has a classic European kind of feel to it, just like you would expect from a human city.

This is a cool looking portal (nice windows too) at the top of the mage tower in the human city.

Aww, don't I look cute! I love this t-shirt and pants. Seriously, it's time mages stopped wearing robes. Too bad there is nothing at the top tiers that looks anything like this. Oh well! (Seriously, if your really a mage out on the field, your gunna want to have the flexibility of a shirt and pants. The only time I would want a robe is if I was in a cold place.)

Ahh, beautiful! Perfect place for a sunset really. This area reminds me of New Mexico.

And just like New Mexico it rains, occasionally.

Yup, it's got color. Very soothing.

Dwarf City

Well, I made a bank alt named Rulero. I like him, he is dressed snazzy and will hopefully make me a ton of gold.

Yes, I managed to fall down here.

There are some really great looking buildings in here.

Just cool!

The gnome stuff makes me dizzy.

Deep in the center of the dwarven city is The Great Forge. I think.

So much to see, so much to do in WoW

Continuing my adventures in World of Warcraft, I have seen a lot of sights. Most of my time in WoW is spent exploring, not killing monsters or doing quests. Hey, must be a draeni thing, we where born to run!

Deep in the forest, you always gotta watch your back! Who knows when you might come to a scary forest in the woods surrounded by undead.

Noone is safe from the undead menace!

Well, that forest was too scary so I went back to the human city. I think this mount sure looks cool.
Here is Ironforge, city of the dwarves!

I looked up at one point in time, and was blown away by this architecture. Very cool.

There was a cute painting in the same place.

Yeah, I think I could study magic here!

Just some sightseeing

Phew! It's been a long month, but I'm pretty much done with my first year of college! I'm proud to say that I have survived, and I'm also happy that this blog continued throughout the year. Well, I could say more, but lets just get into the screenshots. ^^

Yeah, this picture is just awesome.
This is the king of Ironforge or something like that.
Flying on a griffon really is great!
Sometimes dancing just breaks out in the auction house. ^^

Well, that's all for now, thanks for reading!

Deadmines, and a little other travel

Continuing my adventures in World of Warcraft I have made it to the deadmines and the respective area. The deadmines are... well just a mine I guess, but it has some interesting sights inside. I got some great pictures outside too!

This first picture is great. I kinda forgot where I took this, I think it was in the wetlands.
In WoW there are these summoning stones you can use to transport group members to your location. They are always outside of a dungeon or instance.

I was really surprised by the flowing lava in this part of the deadmines. It really has a great effect! I wish I could show it to you in motion. (Maybe someday moving pictures will be really common, like in Harry Potter where it shows the same thing usually but you can see things like water move and lava flow and the characters shuffle now and then)

Deeper in the deadmines you come across this awesome looking ship. And sometimes.... gnomes dancing.

After a few runs through the deadmines, I wanted to just do some exploring, so I decided to take one of the boats I saw and see where it went.

The boat led to the night elf area, which I wasn't terribly interested in, but wandering deeper into the surrounding forest I found this really awesome structure. You know what it reminds me of? If you have ever read The Wheel of Time, it reminds me of the giant magical-amplifier things. But it's obviously stuck into something, and that something seems to be bleeding light... so I don't know. I would be curious to find out just what this structure is and what it is used for.

[EDIT: I just noticed something interesting! Some of these screenshots where taken at night and in the dark, and yet they look fantastic! In EverQuest 2 I couldn't take any night pictures because they would always come out bad]

[EDIT2: Oh, one more thing! I started another blog and I would love it if anyone reading this would take a look. It is almost exactly the same as this blog, only it is pictures from real-life! I will be going to California and Alabama this summer on vacation, so expect some great pictures. Take a look at my new blog: American Roast]
