2000xp in Urban Dead!

Wow, its been a busy week! I hit a nice milestone in Urban Dead today. :) I hit 2000xp! I have that much xp because I have gotten to a point where there are no more skills to get except brain rot. (I have all human and zombie skills) So the xp just piles up!

A return to Lineage 2

Ugh I know, you read it right... I came back to that evil Korean game Lineage 2 again. I have been so addicted that I haven't even had time to write a blog! (Well I have been moving to a new house as well.)

I'm just taking a break from Vanguard because I want to play it on my new computer. I decided to just not play it at all till I built the thing so that when I played the game it on the new computer it would be a fresh experience.

This next screenshot is the character select area you see each time you log into the game. It's not the kind of picture I would normally post, with the icons and stuff. But I think its interesting because it is the screen every Lineage 2 player sees each time they log into the game.
Well my "main character" is CowNoseTheCat a level 64 Bounty Hunter. :) Here she is gathering some steel by killing these bugs.
I bought a D grade weapon recently, some +4 Bich"Hwas. I'm gunna try to enchant them to +5 then +6. :) If they make it then I'm gunna use some Ancient Adena to turn them from a fist weapon into a dagger. Anyways buying the weapon inspired me to make a orc alt.
There really are some cool art stuff in the orc area. I think NCSoft might have updated the graphics here! They tend to do that all over Lineage 2 without telling you, things because subtly (and sometimes drastically) more detailed and better looking after ever free "expansion".
Lol omg look at this outfit. ^^
Anyways I recently realized that I had created a mystic not a warrior. I wanted to be a monk not a mystic! So, I have to wait 7 days before CowNose is deleted and I can make the orc I want. In the meantime... I have been playing my dwarf alt SoonWeC.
Just today I was playing SoonWeC and I was amazed by how many people there where in the Execution Grounds! I think its the most people I have ever seen there at once. :) There where aprox. 7 people. Hey that's not bad really, usually these low level areas are kind of barron. But things have been picking up. :) I think DeviantRealms still has a lot of life left in it. As much as Lineage 2 is kind of a crazy evil korean game... it is very addicting and fun in its own strange way... anyways I just know that I'm not done with Lineage 2 quite yet. >:D

Urban Dead special!

Ugh, okay first off just a wee bit 'o real-life news. I just moved to a new house! Heh... I bet you can guess what the first thing I unpacked was! Okay the low-down on the new house: the neighborhood is worse, but the house itself is better. A reasonable compromise I think. And honestly the neighborhood is not that bad its just a lot of poor mexican families. They are just that, families not drug dealers or gangs. Hey... I feel safe walking down the street thats good enough right!

I'm going to be bringing some new content into the blog, and that is bringing you my adventures from the free web-based MMOs I play. I wasn't so sure about telling you guys what I have been up to in these games... but I was thinking, "Hey, they are MMOs so why not?"

For the past... oh half a year I have been playing a free web-based MMORPG called Urban Dead.

Urban Dead is what I call an action-point(AP) game. Every half an hour you get 1 action point, with a maximum of 50 APs. You use action-points to do everything... to move to another building, search for supplies, talk to people, attack things, construct barricades, etc. etc.

Well the setting of Urban Dead is the reason why I love it so much. It is a zombie MMO! There is nothing like it. Its a great never ending conflict between zombies and humans.

Zombies have all kinds of skills they can get by spending experience points they find by killing humans or bashing down barricades.

Humans can get skills in other more interesting ways... healing people, etc.

Well since I first started playing this game I have been a zombie. I love to just bash down some barricades and let my zombies brothers inside to tear things apart and eat the yummy crunchy humans inside. Its just so satisfying when you kill a human, or drag them outside the building alive to give them to weaker zombies outside. I also take particular delight in letting out a huge groan when I see a human to alert my fellow zombies to the meal.

Urban Dead has a nice simple interface. There are no pretty pictures but its clean and to the point... especially nice that it does not have any glaring adds.

Well... I better get back to unpacking I really am just procrastinating and a blog seemed like the perfect excuse.

PS: The screenshot above it my zombie being revived! This means I'm a human again... which means I can get ammo, and sneak into barricaded buildings, and then kill everyone inside.

History is made!

Well, I must say this is a great blog! Perhaps not for draw-dropping pictures or incredibly well crafted writing but more for in-game accomplishments. What's such a big accomplishment? What history has been made? Well, I got a house! I guess that is going too far... I got a house plot. Still... this is some big news. It's kind of hard to explain why getting this house plot is so important but I will do my best. See in most other MMOs when you get a house it is not actually part of the game world (the main world everyone else runs around in). For example when you bought a house in EQ2 there was a house that you could see on the outside but if you where to enter into that house what you see on the inside would be different from what the guy next to you saw when he bought the same house. (See, it's kind of hard to put into words) But in Vanguard when you buy a house and build it in the main world it is actually there in the main world. I know a lot of people would think something like, "Okay so when you build a house in the main world it is not just an instance. Great, whatever, doesn't sound that special to me." But if you really think about it... there are thousands of people who play on my server. There are not thousands of house plots and what plots are out there are going fast! When I bought my house there was double the amount of houses being built then when I visited the same spot a few weeks ago.

Hehe, but before I went to get my house I made some great progress on the Infineum quests! There is a gnome inside this mech...

And there was one part in the infineum quests where I had to get a cultists robes. I like the robes... I'm no caster but they sure are sharp.
Ahh, and I almost forgot! Another huge event happened for my guild the New Outriders: we crafted our first boat! I wrecked the thing about three times...
And of course... here we (my guild and I) are celebrating on top of the construction site of one of our houses. Oh did I forget to mention? It wasn't just me buying a house... no it was my whole guild buying 7 plots total all next to each other!
PS: Oh I forgot to mention that the night I got the house was the beginning of my 18th birthday! So happy birthday to me. ^^
