Cool Archer In My Clans Fortress

I went to my clans Fortress, just to check it out. I am too low level to help them defend and take the fortress, but I still think it's pretty cool. You can buy buffs and get some other rewards from controlling a fortress. Anyways, when I was there I saw this really cool archer! Yes that is actually a bow!

RB Killin'

We meet in the Cruma Marsh.

This was actually a really hard Raid Boss, and we were not able to kill him.

While out killing stuff, I made a friend

I was killing orcs north of Giran. It was a day like any other. A beautiful day really, and a good day to go hunting!

See? Beautiful day.

When I ran into a guy with his name red! As usual, because I love PKers, I ran up to talk to him. He was actually very nice, he invited me to join his clan, and he explained that he got his red name by killing bots, something I am very familiar with. In the end I decided to join his clan, at least to try it out. It gets boring grinding it out alone sometimes! It would be nice to have some people to level with.

Another RB!

OK, I hope you're not getting sick of these raiding posts. Today's boss is back down in the wastelands, the same place we killed the Basilisk earlier.

There he is, the big tough guy!

However with a healer and a tank, any raid boss is possible.

Another RB fight.

Not a major post, but a cool picture of another raid boss! After killing that boss in the Ruins of Despair I got to go here. This boss is actually in the dwarf newbie area.

Ruins of Despair Raid Boss

With another pick-up group I went to the Ruins of Despair and ended up fighting a really cool looking raid boss. This guy is going down as one of my favourite looking bosses! (I wonder if this model is used in other places in the game? I'm sure it is, but I don't know where)

We start off fast, hitting the monster with everything we got.

There he is! Pretty cool huh?

Ugg, look at that tongue!

Boom! (Unfortunately this camera angle doesn't show you the off-screen mages, but this explosion is one of their spells)

Yay, we emerge victorious!

Wee, look at me!

Did you ever notice how there is a lack of furniture in Lineage 2? No wonder everyone is always standing!

More EG Fun!

As the title says, this post is some more EG goodness. Just leveling up the elf, and Captain Beefheart at one of my favourite places, the Execution Grounds.

Cutting down some spirits.

Look, I made my own adena field!

Gearing Up For a Raid, and a Nice Picture

No Raid Boss to see here... just some people buffing and getting ready for the big fight. I like the screenshot though and that's why I'm posting it.

Yay, I got CowNoseTheElf D grade!

Actually, it's just CowNoseTheKitty's armor, and weapon. But hey, that's why investing in good equipment is worth it! You never know when you will use it next, and it often comes in handy more then once. (This especially goes for weapons in Lineage 2) Anyways, here she is decked out in her Manti with her awesome dagger!

Yay, nice shot!

Of course, I have to go test out my new gear!

I really like this picture...

For some reason this dwarf started messing with me. (Actually, he tried to pick up my drops and I killed him) But... wait a second, who is that in the background? That's right, I made another new character! You actually saw him yesterday for the first time! His name is CaptainBeefheart and he is going to be my Prophet. I like Abdul, but I want to try out a Prophet.

CowNoseTheElf is created!

As you may or may not know, I love alts. So, when I saw a light elf run by wearing some really cool looking (and cute) armor, I knew I just had to have one. And so, CowNoseTheElf is born!

In typical Elf fashion, there is a giant tree right at the starting area. And, now that I think about it, this area is an exact copy of the elf starting place in Lineage 1. Oh yeah, as you can see AbdulAlhazred has come to help.

After getting some new equipment I head off to the Elven Fortress to kill some orcs n' skeletons.

OK, I actually ended up teleporting to Talking Island. And when I get there, this guy gave me some trouble!

Yay, spider killing!

Bot Killing With CowNoseTheElf

The one thing I hate most while leveling is seeing a bot. Well, that's actually not true. It's not that I like bots, just that I try to not let them get to me. I do enjoy, however, killing bots! It's fun to mess with them... and sometimes the owners come on and mess with you back if they are nearby their computer. It sort of reminds me of back in the day when I first started playing Lineage 2, the "Americans" (though they were probably from different countries) would go into a dungeon and fight the Koreans for control of the dungeon. In the beginning of Lineage 2 there was still a lot of Adena selling and all that stuff, however instead of bots it was real live (hehe) Koreans doing the farming.

First one...

Then the other...

Now it's time to work off my karma!

Peacefull Killing North of Giran

An uneventful day, yet there are always fantastic screenshot opportunities in Lineage 2 at every moment. Today is just one of those days!

Yes, SoulShot really works!

For some reason, I actually don't mind the look of Lineage 2's hills and mountains.

Nice action shot!

Pirate Raid Boss Killin'

Raiding is a common activity in Lineage 2. While it is not the easiest game to find groups, mechanically, it is easy to find them because of how necessary they are. OK I doubt I made much sense there. What I mean is, in Lineage 2 you need to shout in towns to find a party for a raid boss or anything else. There is a LFG tool, but it is seldom used. (It's a bit clunky and can show enemies where you are) Yet, because grouping is so vital and important in Lineage 2, groups are easy to find. So it's not uncommon, especially at the lower levels, to randomly find a raid to kill one or more raid bosses. Sometimes this ends in failure, other times, it goes pretty good!

First there is the essential buffing process...

Here he is! Ugly, I know.

Alright, time to cut 'im down!

Leveling Outside Giran

This is not the most stunning post, nor the most exciting, but it does show Giran Castle in all its glory, and some of the local wildlife.

There she is, Giran Castle!

And a Dragon.

And a Harpy!

Death Comes Easy In The Cruma Marshlands

I forget why I killed this person... I don't think I had a very good reason. I don't remember.

After killing that person, I felt like it was prime time to do some spider hunting.

Foul! Kill the cow...

Foul! Kill the cow... (I think he is trying say Fool! What do you think?)

When You're Near the Ant Nest You Gotta Kill The Basilisk

Like the title says, when your near the Ant Nest you gotta kill the Basilisk!

I met up with a random group of people. No problem, the Basilisk is easy to take down.

And here we have our more cinematic picture, got a nice view on this one.

These wolves are kicking butt!

I always think it's cool how at these newbie levels you can kill a raid boss and everyone levels up at once.

Ant Killing

Into the Nest, our hero adventures!

I enter the Ant Nest, ready for anything.

Ding!

Though these ants are tough, I'm tougher!

I wonder how many ants I have killed so far?

Full Manticore

Manticore, aka: manti, is D grade light armor. It has some good bonuses, though generally it is very overpriced. However, I really like how it looks, so I always try and buy some. Sometimes I even OE (overenchant) it! I guess you could say, I like to do the full manti...
