I just can't remember what this place is called. Is it the coliseum? There is already a coliseum in Lineage 2, that is where Hero's are made. This place is something different.
Well anyways, it's a place for high levels to teleport and duke it out. It's something different from your standard arena, but I forget how. You can earn some sort of points or something. I have never heard of anyone using it. (But then again I'm not high-level)
Anyways, this place is worth a quick look! It's got some great architecture and some neat things in it.
This is the center of the whole room, it's basically a big circle. You teleport down into it. The whole place has this great snake thing going on! It reminds me of some of the Conan books with their Egyptian temples (that worship that one snake god fellow).
I like the floors here. And you can see that this whole central structure floats above a big cavern below.
This snake guardian statue stand guard for eternity! There are a few of these around the dungeon. Notice, er, that they got a snake head.
Cool fountain. Snake themed, of course. I like it. Notice the snakes holding the lights in their mouths. Great attention to detail here! There is a big shield on the wall below this snake statue.
I look so cool and tough!
I enjoy reading other peoples blogs about what they have accomplished in their games, so I decided to try and do it myself. This is the ongoing story of Cow Nose the 50 pound cat in her various incarnations.

Explording Fantasy Island
I recently got the chance to take a tour of Lineage 2's new Fantasy Isle. Fantasy Isle doesn't have much in it right now, but there are plans to have mini-games here that will (hopefully) really add a lot of new gameplay and things to do in Lineage when you don't feel like PvP or killing monsters. As of now though, Fantasy Island is an empty interesting place.
Just touring it really makes you realize the potential of Lineage 2's graphics and the strength of it's programming. ('Cause almost every inch of the Fantasy Island look fantastic!)
This is the first thing you see on the Isle. I like how it is cheery and fun, but still manages to have that fantastic Lineage 2 art style!
This is the main entrance into the Fantasy Island square. Though of course you teleport into the island.
In one section of the island there is this wonderful sea-themed section. (I wonder what will be here? Anything?)
Behold! Your Queen!
As I make my way to check out something on the other end of the Isle, I see a mysterious temple in the distance. I'll have to check that out later on my way back.
I think this statue of a cat is sniffing it's tail. Cute.
A better view of the whole island.
OK time to check out this temple!
Inside the temple is very interesting. On the floor is the Mayan calendar! Look at that detail! See what I mean about the potential of Lineage 2? Really cool stuff.
Well that's Fantasy Island. There is nothing "real" there just yet, but its absolutely worth taking a look. Heck I might just come back here to show you what I missed taking a shot of! I wonder if anything else will ever be here? What games will be added? Will Fantasy Island ever become a gathering spot for the players of Lineage 2 to meet and socialize?

Fighting in Talking Island
Well, I have made one major change in my L2 career already. I decided to drop the Kamael. She was pretty and stuff, and I didn't hate the whole fencing-thing. (I have fenced in real-life for a number of years) but in the end she just wasn't the right fit for me. In Lineage 2 getting the right character is an important step. With leveling being what it is, you just don't have the time to make a gazillion alts like you do in other games. (Though of course I make a gazillion alts and different characters anyways.)
So you will see in the pictures below that I have deleted my Kamael so that I could use the name on a different character.
Smack! Human Females aren't for everyone, but I really like them. I think it's the animation I like most about human females in Lineage.
Crack!
Wohooo!

I made a Dwarf!
Well, I wasn't sure if I wanted to make a dwarf or not. But, I have made a dwarf, because I figure I can use him as a crafter to smash things for Soul Shot and maybe make some money crafting. I have learned in the time of playing Lineage 2, that a spoiling-type dwarf is a waste of money. It's really hard for them to get anything decent from spoils to make it worth the effort. But maybe a crafting dwarf is better! We'll see! I also made him a guy, caus' hey, it's something new and different.
Die bat! Die!
PS: You can see one of the new herbs that drop from monsters now. They give you buffs as well as restore MP and heal you. They do make leveling somewhat easier.

The Kamael City
The Kamael's city is really the most interesting thing about them. The area surrounding them is largely grey and desolate and boring, but the city itself is amazing.
On the borders of the city, there are these gates. Perhaps some kind of force field? Laser-defense-system?
Over the whole city there is this massive and terrifying vortex.
A broad view of the whole city. I wish I could get more of it into a single screenshot.
The Kamael temple.
Really great architecture.
Inside the big Kamael temple there are students studying the power of the crystals and other dark magics.
Quite pretty on the inside. Not much furniture though.

I made a Kamael!
Well, I just had to. It is the newest race in Lineage 2 and you just HAVE to give them a try. I have heard some iffy things about the Kamael, I think people don't really understand just how they work yet. But I really think NCSoft wouldn't make a character or a whole new race that didn't have its usefulness and unique skills.
Sometimes I like to take a picture of the character-select screen because they are all different in each MMO.
This is the room you first start in. That Crystal thing behind CowNoseTheKitty spins and turns.
On the wall in the back of this room stares an Evil Eye. Don't forget the Kamael are a dark and evil race!
Out into the big scary world.
I didn't notice at first, but look at what is inside this bird-man's mouth!
All bird-men must die.
Pretty cool waterfall, and I like these ruins.

First Things First (Back to Lineage 2)
Well, I have made my first character in Lineage 2. (Again) This time she is CowNoseTheKitty a human warrior. I am going to make her into a Treasure Hunter.
Hey, we all have to start somewhere.
